Should pro-life voters support Donald Trump?
Pro-lifers will have a seat at the table in a Donald Trump administration. Kamala Harris will weaponize government to put pro-life people in prison.
When Donald Trump says he will veto a national abortion ban, you cannot blame pro-life people for "depressing turnout" because they noticed and commented on it. They are not "depressing turnout." Donald Trump is depressing turnout by betraying his own supporters on a critical issue.
There is a pro-life case to be made for voting for Trump. He did appoint three Supreme Court justices that were critical in ending Roe v. Wade. His weakness and cowardice on abortion the last two years aside, pro-lifers will have a seat at the table in a Trump administration. Trump has a mercurial personality and you never know what will come out of his mouth at any given moment, but he will likely not interfere with pro-life laws at the state level.
Kamala Harris, meanwhile, will weaponize government to put pro-life people in prison. That is not hyperbole. She has already done that very thing in her capacity as Attorney General of California by pursuing criminal charges against journalists who exposed Planned Parenthood for selling body parts. Joe Biden has done that as President, by weaponizing the Justice Department against a pro-life demonstrator, sending a SWAT team to the man's house. (So much for opposing the militarization of police.) There was not a peep of opposition from Harris, so the only logical conclusion is that she supports this abuse of power. Both Biden and Harris are 100% corrupt.
The vast majority of pro-life voters will cast a ballot for Trump, and some will not vote for him. No matter how you vote, you should vote your conscience at the top of the ticket. If you cannot in good conscience vote for Trump, then do not vote for him. If you feel you must vote for Trump, then do it. We all have to make our own choices.
But if you as a pro-life voter decide to not vote for Trump, the worst thing you can do is stay home. There are lots of pro-life candidates down the ballot who deserve your support, from the House and Senate to state legislatures and governors. As a pro-life voter, you should get out and vote for those committed pro-life candidates down the ballot, no matter what you do in the race for President.
