Stop exhibiting degeneracy to condemn degeneracy
You can reprove the unfruitful deeds of darkness without sharing graphic video of naked men.
Imagine you are in church listening to the pastor delivering a sermon on why viewing pornography is a sin. In order to illustrate why it is bad, the pastor then shows a graphic sex scene from a pornographic movie. This would (hopefully) shock the conscience of the congregation and the pastor would probably be looking for a new job the next day. You do not need to show people degenerate content in order to explain why degenerate content is bad.
The same principle should apply to sharing video of degenerate behavior on social media, something we saw last month during "pride month." It is obviously terrible for LGBTQ cultists to march naked in a pride parade, and the police should have immediately arrested the naked cultists. But Christians can rebuke, exhort and warn against degenerate behavior without showing images or video of degenerate content on social media, especially knowing that there are minors who use those platforms. Stop exhibiting degeneracy to condemn degeneracy.
"But we have to expose these wicked deeds! If we do not expose them, this will continue!"
No. You can reprove the unfruitful deeds of darkness - and Christians have been doing that for 2000 years - without sharing graphic video of naked men. You can explain what happened, and shame the civil magistrate for not prohibiting this public degeneracy, without showing images or video of the degenerate behavior. And no, I do not care if the video is slightly pixelated. That is not good enough. There was a time, in my lifetime, when this would have shocked the conscience of almost all Christians.
Folks, this is not difficult. It is not "based" to show graphic images or video of degenerate content, and it is not "investigative journalism." Stop wallowing in filth for social media clout. Stop behaving like this and further corrupting society. Speak the truth, but do with with words, not explicit video. Remember, Scripture teaches us that Jesus is the Word, and the Word is sharper than any two-edged sword. Use your words instead.
