The foundation must be poured first

Sometimes you need to state a Truth from Scripture and defend it, without nuance, because the principle needs to be defended and because the principle is under attack. Once we establish the principle, THEN we can add nuance. But the foundation is absolutely critical. You cannot build windows and doors without walls, and you cannot build walls without a foundation.
