THE JOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOS!!!!
Jews are a tiny minority, and 99.8% of the world is not being oppressed by 0.2% of the world. Blaming an entire ethnic group for the world's problems based on their ancestry is nonsense.
Over the last ten years, we have seen a worrying spike in anti-Semitism on both the Right and Left. On the Right, much of this has its origins in the rise of President Donald Trump in 2015 and 2016, which is actually hilarious when you think about it. The guy who was a hero to the anti-Semitic "alt right" when he was running for President the first time has been arguably the most pro-Israel President we have ever had, and has stood up for Jews being harassed on college campuses. I am not sure how the guy with a Jewish son-in-law and Jewish grandchildren was going to make an American Reich.
But the virus of anti-Semitism is spreading, and is capturing more of the Right - especially online. There are people who find a way to blame "The Jews" for every single problem, either directly or indirectly. So let's look at some numbers: Jews represent 0.2% of the world's population. 46% of those are in Israel, so the population of Jews in the rest of the world is even smaller than 0.2%.
Are there bad Jews? Obviously yes. George Soros is the primary example. But to blame an entire ethnic group for all the world's problems simply based on their ancestry is utter nonsense. I have seen a number of people say "the Jews" are responsible for 9/11. But even if one could blame Israel for a "false flag" operation (which is a clownish conspiracy theory) that does not mean every single ethnic Jew is guilty. If anything, Jews are the ones who have historically been oppressed, and in many parts of the world still are - including on college campuses here in the United States.
Christians, if we truly do believe in the authority of Scripture, should be praying for God to fulfill His promise in Romans 11:25-29 that Jews will be saved. We should be praying that those who have not accepted Jesus Christ will accept their Messiah (as some Jews today have) and will put their faith in Him and accept Him as Lord and Savior. No one should be pushing ethnic hatred and praising Adolf Hitler, as some fake "christians" are doing online.
Let's go back to the numbers: Jews are a tiny minority, and 99.8% of the world is not being oppressed by 0.2% of the world. Given that the Lord Jesus Christ was a Jew, ethnic hatred of Jews is the spirit of the AntiChrist. The people pushing the anti-Semitic conspiracy theories need to get a grip, take responsibility for their own lives and stop blaming all of their problems on phantoms. In short, grow up and be a man.
Typo in fourth paragraph fixed.
