The most important part of a pro-liberty agenda
There is no more pressing issue than over one million abortions that were done in 2025.
Every right we have, and every right protected by our Constitution, is dependent on one single thing: The right to life. If we can be murdered, then it does not matter how much the government at the national, state or local level protects our other rights. You cannot worship if you are dead. You cannot speak freely if you are dead. You cannot be safe from unreasonable searches if you are dead. You have no private property rights if you are dead. Your due process rights were taken away.
There is no more important issue than the right to life. There is no more pressing issue than over one million abortions that were done in 2025. This was after abortions had dipped below 800,000 in the late 2010's. This also does not count the many millions of chemical abortions that have taken place but are not counted in these numbers. If all surgical abortions ended today, that would only save a minority of the lives being snuffed out under the banner of "reproductive freedom."
What about life-saving "abortion care" in the aftermath of a miscarriage? Abortion saved the mother's life! This is one of the most dishonest "arguments" I have seen. No pro-life organization and no church opposes removing the remains of a deceased baby. The objection has always been about intentionally ending the life of a baby in the womb. People who bring this issue up are not seeking a legitimate answer. They are exploiting a tragic situation to justify abortion on demand.
Speaking of miscarriages, it is true that a large portion of pregnancies end in a natural spontaneous miscarriage. This is tragic, but does not justify surgical abortions and does not mean that "God is an abortionist." Every single human who has ever lived and will ever live is going to die. This does not mean it is acceptable to engage in random drive-by shootings.
Abortion supporters love to bring up other issues. What about this or that or the other thing? It is counterproductive to address these issues in context of discussing abortion, because they are almost never serious "questions." They are designed to be red herrings. Abortion supporters want to address anything other than the termination of innocent human life in the womb. They are designed to virtue signal about how much they "care" about this or that to cover the blood guilt of supporting abortion.
No, the core issue is and has always been the humanity of the unborn child. The issue is equal protection under the law, mandated by the Fourteenth Amendment, that has been ignored since 1973. If we truly believe in liberty, we should protect the most basic liberty of all.
