Agree. But, that means that moderate Republican will have to accept a reasonable compromise on the abortion issue, IF following your position. The extreme limits on all abortion pushed by the non-compromising extreme Republicans will result in primaries that produce candidates that can't win the general election. The pro-abortion voting people will lead to Democratic victories in almost all cases.
