It is easy for Christians to think of a Believer's death as a glorious occasion because he or she will go to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Of course, this is true. The joy our dead loved one experiences in Heaven is simply unbelievable, and that is a great comfort to us as we grieve. We should not, however, be pollyannish about death. We should not lose sight of the fact that death is an enemy and that God will destroy death in the last days. Death is the last enemy that will be overthrown.
